Dr. Jan Michael Mrosik joins EthonAI’s advisory board

ZURICH (February 5, 2025) – EthonAI announces that Dr. Jan Michael Mrosik, former CEO of Knorr-Bremse and COO of Siemens Digital Industries, has joined its advisory board. His expertise at the intersection of digital tools and manufacturing will help EthonAI drive operational excellence while sharpening its positioning.

Dr. Jan Michael Mrosik is the former CEO of Knorr-Bremse and COO of Siemens Digital Industries. Over the past two decades he has driven global sales exceeding €16 billion and managed a workforce of over 76,000 employees at the intersection of manufacturing and technology.

About Dr. Jan Michael Mrosik

Dr. Jan Michael Mrosik was born in Freiburg in Breisgau, Germany, in 1964. He earned a PhD in electrical engineering in the field of laser radar sensor technology at RWTH Aachen in 1996 and joined Siemens in the same year. Over the years, he advanced through various leadership roles, becoming CEO of the Energy Management and subsequently Digital Factory Divisions as well as COO of the Siemens Operating Company “Digital Industries”. He became CEO of Knorr-Bremse in 2021 and now serves as an investor, advisor, and board member for multiple companies.
